How we work with importers and brand owners — from first enquiry to repeat orders.
A European retail chain sourcing steam irons for its private label had always bought indirectly through a trading company — quotes came with a layer of markup, and every detail change meant messages relayed back and forth. They wanted to deal with the factory directly and keep brand and quality in their own hands.
After samples on a standard model were approved, we customised body colour, 230 V Type F (EU) plug, retail box and multi-language manual to their channel requirements; safety features such as auto shut-off were checked item by item against the retailer's inspection checklist, with full inspection before shipment.
A brand needed a garment steamer line on shelves before the selling season. Full custom tooling takes months and would miss the window, so they chose differentiation on a proven platform — the fast "select and adapt" route.
On our existing vacuum steamer platform we adapted colours and packaging to their channel, fine-tuned steam settings and tank specification for the target market, prepared the CE/GS technical files, and supported their laboratory testing throughout with pre-tested samples.
A cleaning-category wholesaler adding steam mops for supermarket channels had two priorities: voltage and certification matched exactly to the destination market, and mop heads engineered as replaceable consumables — the mop sells once, but the pads keep selling all year.
On the HOME-TEC OPTIMUS platform we configured the voltage version for their market, paired it with heat-resistant replaceable mop-head sets, produced manuals and retail boxes in their channel language, and shipped full containers to the agreed port.
